In many ways I consider spanking to be an art form. Everything involved in the activity of spanking must be done artfully or it falls short. The mere action of spanking must be done with fluidity and expression. The verbiage and role-play must be performed with style. Even the writing and producing of adult spanking products is an art form if done correctly.

Like many artists, I am constantly evolving. For close to 20 years I have been fine-tuning and honing my craft. At this stage in my evolution as a disciplinarian, I feel it is time to drop the term "Mistress" from my name and use my full name, Jacqueline Omerta.

I feel the term "Mistress" throws people off. This title is associated with S/M and dungeon play. Though I enjoy those activities, my real preference and talents lie more with corporal punishment and domestic discipline. If you read my autobiography, "Whips and Kisses", you know that my very first interest in the scene was spanking. It was only through open-minded explorations that I broadened my horizons and engaged in a wide variety of scenes.

As Mistress Jacqueline, I have spent many years fulfilling a wide variety of d/s fantasies. Over time I have found that my true passion lies with spanking. Not that I haven't enjoyed other aspects of the scene, it's just that at this stage in my career, I can be very selective about the types of scenes I wish to do.

While it is true that I have become quite skillful at most d/s practices, in the past few years my focus has moved more and more toward spanking. Anyone who has taken an art appreciation class knows that true artists constantly refine their craft. Many musicians also do this throughout their careers. This is simply a step in my own personal growth. Remember, while some of us may be experts in the spanking scene, none of us knows everything. It is all about growth and evolution. To truly be great at something we must always be submersed in education and experimentation.

Last year I converted my dungeon into a spanking playroom. I removed all the bondage equipment and replaced it with furniture that lends itself to domestic discipline and school room scenarios. This was the first step in my evolution. Changing my name is the next. I'm sure other changes will take place in the years to come.

I've been very fortunate in that I've had the opportunity to meet and get to know many wonderful people in the scene. It's a blessing to be able to live my life openly and have a vehicle that allows me to express myself. I love what I do. Most of all, I enjoy providing entertainment and happiness to others.

I'm in this life-style for the long haul and I feel it's my destiny to help others attain self-acceptance and sexual freedom. It's always a pleasure to communicate with other like-minded people and I love corresponding with you. Thank you for the continued support you've given to me.
